University Suites is a planned student community located minutes from the ECU campus. The following information will assist you with renting a townhome at University Suites.

How do I rent a townhome at University Suites?

1. Fill out the application and parental guaranty form linked to below and return it to the leasing office onsite along with a $35 per person nonrefundable application fee.
2. University Suites will be leased to groups of three(3) on a first come, first serve basis. Once all three individuals have returned their applications and paid the application fee and security deposit, management will notify you that your application was approved, a townhome was reserved for you, and you can sign your lease agreement.
3. Your parent/guardian guarantees your portion of the rent and any damages that may occur. Your lease will be an individual lease, that is, you are only responsible for your rent and not any of your roommates' rent.
4. Pay a security deposit of $200.00 and a non refundable administative fee of $100.00. Make check payable to University Suites . Upon occupancy by resident, the security deposit, will be retained by landlord during the term of the lease and the balance returned according to the terms of your lease agreement.
5. How and when do I pay rent installments? The first monthly installment is due on the first day of August and on the 1st day of each month thereafter. A 5% late fee is charged if the total installment due is not received in the management office by the 5th of each month. Make checks or money orders payable to University Suites . Semi-annual payments are due on August 1st and February 1st. Annual payments are due August 1st. (No cash will be accepted.) All rent checks should be mailed to 763 J.
